Enter, ULTRADESTROYER.
This year our Imperial Licorice Stout will emerge from the depths with a new name, ULTRADESTROYER.
Fear not friends, Ultradestroyer is the same beastly imperial licorice stout you have come up against over the last 10 years.
For those that don’t know, our Imperial Licorice Stout was originally brewed in very limited quantities in recognition of the Alibi Room’s 200th beer list in 2010, as a collaboration with Alibi Room & Megadestroyer Clothing Company. Since then, the legend has grown into something of its own and it’s about time that it deserved a name of its own.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Alibi Room and Megadestroyer Clothing, we’re grateful for the beginnings of this beer. Under the new name, we intend to honour this beer and continue its legacy for many years to come and our brewers have preserved the original recipe.
Ultradestroyer Imperial Licorice Stout will be available from November 19th at the Brewpub, online at howesound.com/store and your local HSB supporting liquor stores.
