January 17: Line Dancing & Country Night in Squamish
📅 When: Friday, January 17 - 7pm–close
📍 Where: Brewpub, Howe Sound Brewing, Squamish
Wow Squamish, thank you! Tickets for the Line Dancing & Country night are sold out online.
Entry: A limited amount of $15 tickets will be available at the door on Friday, January 17 so come early to make sure you get a spot! Doors open at 7pm.
The Brewpub will be transforming into a honky-tonk with line dancing from 7:30pm-9:30pm, there is no experience necessary - if you know how to Line Dance already come on down for some boot scooting! DJ Jimmy Spinz will end the night DJ’ing from 9:45pm till close.
Wear your best country attire, drink specials available all night and a limited food menu will be available.
January 19: Bacon & L’eggs Family Friendly Drag Brunch at East Van

Hosted by Phyllis, this dreams edition of East Van’s favourite drag brunch promises plenty of joy and laughter, dazzling performances, and prizes. Gather your friends (large groups are encouraged!) and enjoy brunch with some of Vancouver’s newest and best drag talent.

January 22 - February 9: Dine Out Vancouver at East Van & New West

Dine Out Vancouver 2025 is back and our city locations are participating again this year. From January 22 to February 9 we will be offering a 3 course menu for only $29.

January 28 - Linocut Art Night with Radish Designs

Awesome that Thirsty Thursday Trivia is back in Squamish and Trivia Tuesdays in New West! I love a good brain challenge. If you're into puzzles and keeping your mind sharp between trivia nights, you might enjoy playing a fun game like MeowdoKu Game Online.
So glad to see Dine Out Vancouver is back at Howe Sound's city locations, and with such an affordable menu! Once those menus are released on January 15th, it would be cool to see some AI-generated visuals of the dishes. If any restaurants are looking to spruce up their marketing, a Zeva AI Image Generator could be a really creative tool for showcasing their offerings.
It's really thoughtful that the Linocut Art Night is tailored for 'injured athletes' looking for new ways to connect and enjoy non-active skills. That's a fantastic initiative! For anyone who maintains an active lifestyle or just needs a little extra stability, I've found a knee brace support can be a helpful part of a daily routine.
The Line Dancing & Country Night sounds absolutely amazing, especially transforming the Brewpub into a honky-tonk! I bet there will be some fantastic photos from that event. For anyone capturing those moments on an iPhone, you might sometimes need to convert those HEIC photos, perhaps even to video format. A tool like Heic to MP4 could be useful for that.
What a fantastic list of happenings! It's always great to see a local spot so active with events like the Line Dancing night.
