We have some BIG NEWS coming out of the Howe Sound Brewery!👇👇
In the past couple of month's you may have heard that we're saying farewell to our 1L bottles, we can confirm this is true. As of mid- February, we bottled our LAST EVER 1L BOTTLE, one final 1l bottle of Rail Ale Nut Brown. Obviously, we still need to package our beer so that you can enjoy it outside of the brewery, and at home (now more than ever!)
So, let us introduce you to... HOPRAISER WEST COAST IPA & RAIL ALE NUT BROWN!!
We already know these beers, you say? Well, we thought you might not recognize them in their brand-spankin' NEW 473ml CANS! That has been designed with love and inspiration from our beloved Sea to Sky Country.
Hopraiser & Rail Ale are the first of our signature series to be RE-RELEASED in cans. In the next few months, you can look forward to seeing your favourite HSB beers re-imagined. We hope you are as excited about this change as we are, which we have made in an effort to make our beers more accessible, and adventure-ready!
For now, these two will be available at the Brewpub later this week, for off-sales or delivery and soon at BC Liquor Stores.

The move to 473ml cans with that Sea to Sky-inspired artwork really suits Rail Ale and Hopraiser — way more adventure-ready than the old 1L bottles. When I set up a label scanner for my home brewery notes, I rely on an ocr ai tool to digitize old labels accurately, and the neural-network results genuinely impressed me. Cheers to the HSB team on the rebrand!
