The Squamish area has it's share of history. While you're here, visit the B.C. Museum of Mining at Britainnia Beach, the largest copper producing mine in the British Empire in its heyday. Squamish is also home the largest railway heritage collection in western Canada.

The West Coast Railway Heritage Park houses the largest collection of vintage railway rolling stock, locomotives, and artifacts in Western Canada. Open daily from May 1st - October 31st, they hold special events, have a gift shop, miniature railway, on sight snacks, and souvenirs. The park is also reservable for special occasions.
